Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of account/cloud data and can remove local device data by deleting the app or using in-app controls where available.

Overview

SatChart supports account and data deletion requests. Some deletion work may require backend support workflow, especially for shared or group data.

In-app deletion

SatChart includes or is adding in-app account deletion from My Account / Manage My Data. You can also contact support for help.

What may be deleted

  • Account profile and account identifiers.
  • Support records where legally and operationally possible.
  • Radio Group membership, live/shared location records, shared pins/waypoints, and cloud records associated with the account where backend policy allows.

What may remain

  • Data required for legal, security, accounting, compliance, dispute, or safety reasons.
  • Records already shared with other users if needed for group integrity.
  • Backups until expiration.
  • Apple subscription/payment records managed by Apple.
  • Local data on your device until removed.

How to request deletion

Email support@getsatchart.com with your account email, request type, and whether you are requesting full account deletion or specific data deletion.

Local data instructions

Delete SatChart from your device to remove app-local data, or use in-app local clear controls where available.

Subscription note

Deleting your SatChart account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID subscription settings.
